With a yearly output of more than 17 million bottles, “La Gioiosa” is one of Italy's leading wine companies, as well as one of the top Prosecco and Pinot Grigio exporters.

La Gioiosa was awarded the silver medal at the Decanter World Wine Award 2012 for its “Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Extra Dry” and the bronze medals for its wines and for the “Prosecco Doc (registered designation of origin) Treviso” and “Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore” Docg (protected designation of origin) Brut and Docg vintage Brut. The same year, these last two wines also won the silver medal at the International Wine Challenge 2012. At the same event, La Gioisosa was awarded the bronze medal yet again for its “Prosecco Doc Treviso Spumante”.

The name “La Gioiosa” is a homage of the old definition of Treviso's province, "Marca gioiosa et amorosa". The Moretti Polegato family has endowed the century-old wine tradition of the Veneto region with continuity for three generations. P.E. LABELLERS recently equipped this important client with a combined labelling machine with five stations. The machine's output speed is 12,000 bph and it employs two technologies simultaneously: self-adhesive and cold glue. This labelling machine is fitted with servomotors to rotate the bottle-holder plates and an optical orienting system on logos, capsules and glass welding: customised rotation programmes that can be implemented, replaced and reprogrammed directly by the operator with a touch-screen panel.
