PE Labellers - INNOVATION @ CIBUS TEC

From 22 to 25 October 2019, P.E. Labellers will be present in Parma at Cibus Tech, Hall 3 stand E025-D026, recognisable for P.E. and Packlab brands.

This occasion will be taken advantage of to showcase the new range of SL (Smart & Lean) machines, built according to an innovative production process implemented in the new manufacturing plant which, added to the current ones, expanded PE group’s production area to 60,000 square metres.
All models will be produced with this innovative construction method aimed at simplifying assembly by increasing the quality of the product, which will be equipped with new, much more versatile and performing electronics, entirely in line with Industry 4.0 standards.

The true technological revolution resides in the methods of use, maintenance and management of productivity with cutting-edge tools, connected to devices such as tablet PCs and smartphones, fitted with appropriate apps.
In particular, the augmented reality system installed on the new FUTURA SL 960-24-CI on display, uses an iPad with a dedicated app that allows the operator to frame the machine, monitor its operating status, and display any alarms, signals or maintenance to be carried out. With this device, the inside of the electrical cabinet – which in this case is built into the machine – can also be viewed to check its status without having to stop the machine and actually open the cabinet. This enabled us to reach extremely high levels in terms of ease of use and operator interaction: all within your fingertips (this machine will also be on display at BRAU BEVIALE trade fair – Hall 7, stand 7-339).

The stand will also feature the WING model of the linear self-adhesive labeller by Packlab, which can label any kind of cylindrical, elliptical, rectangular and pyramidal containers. This labelling machine can contain up to two labelling stations for front and rear partial labels, but it can also apply wrap-around labels on cylindrical containers. Fitted with MODULO 60 flexible, simple and user-friendly self-adhesive units, it also offers the option of storing up to 500 different label formats thanks to touch panels with multimedia interfaces. The frame features external labelling stations to provide greater accessibility for operators both during work processes and the format changeover stage, as well as sliding doors to reduce overall dimensions to a minimum and ensure maximum operator safety.
