  • COCA COLA SPAIPA - Industria Brasileira de Bebidas
  • Sector: BEVERAGE
  • Demand:
    • - Increase the productivity and efficiency of a 32,000 p/h line
    • - Reduce the time for size change and facilitate various adjustments.
    • - Reduce the air circuit for the transport of bottles between the blow molding machine, labelling machine, filler.
    • - Find more ECO-SUSTAINABLE productive solutions.
  • Solution:

P.E. Labellers has been able to respond positively to this request thanks to the advanced Adhesleeve technology that has transformed the classic roll-fed labeller with hot glue to a simple adhesive labeller which uses pre-glued film (compared to tape with glue in parts and not all over the surface).

  • Outcome:
    • The productivity and efficiency of the line is guaranteed because the labeller does not have breakdowns caused by problems with glue and cutting the labels. No stops are necessary for cleaning. The roll change does not require slowdown of the labeller and is done at maximum speed.
    • The size change is virtually non-existent, the bottles come in and out of the labeller with universal stars with neck-handling gripper. Thanks to the P.E. patented system, no adjustment of tapes for the different height of the bottles is required.
    • Air conveyor belts have been reduced by 75%. Between the blow molding machine and labeller (in terms of safety), sufficient space has been left to empty the furnace of the blow molding machine. The Adhesleeve labeller can start labelling at full speed.

    • ECO-SUSTAINABILITY:
    • 70% reduction in electricity consumption
    • 30% reduction in the thickness of the label film
